Village Industries Play an Important Role in Eradicating Unemployment

At a time when our country was plagued by unemployment problem, village industries came a long way in solving the problem to a great extent by creating employment among rural people, engaging them in various manufacturing activities. Meghalaya, the land of indigenous products

Tucked away in the mountainous terrains of the North-Eastern region of India is the state of Meghalaya, commonly referred to as the ‘Abode of Clouds’, and also known as ‘The Scotland of The East’ since the colonial periods.
